Sargodha city has seen worst road blocking and traffic jam today during the visit of PM Yousaf Raza Gilani, traffic in the Sargodha city remained on a standstill on Saturday. Just when Prime Minister (PM) Yousaf Raza Gilani was to arrive in the company Baag Sargodha for his address , many were forced to wait in a traffic jam for hours.
Sargodha Traffic Police blocked all the roads during the PM’s arrival and departure . 3 main roads University Road,Jail Road and ketchery road were completely blocked for more than 5 hours.
According to News Source 20,000 force were deployed to unsure security of PM Gilani.
“I am surprised that Sargodha Traffic Police has closed all the roads leading towards the city from Lahore and Khushab, untill PM Gilani was in company Baag,and remained closed for more then 3 hour after he left Sargodha.
Many people including women and children were seen going to homes on foot. While talking to SargodhaOnline, they criticized the embarrassing security measures, terming them “as unjust”.
“This is the difference between our rulers and the ones in the west. Their public never faces any difficulties during VIP movement. The rulers never miss a chance to put the public through agony. |
